About Us
Our Story
We are a family of five from the Czech Republic that is very passionate about Spanish culture, people, and food. While still dating, we spent more than one year living and working in Madrid. This time gave us the chance to get to know Spain and, honestly said, we just fell in love with this country.
At the end of our stay in Spain, while staying in Covadonga (Asturias) I proposed to my girlfriend (now my wife) and when we got back to the Czech Republic we brought with us a little gift - our first daughter Magdalena. Some time after that, the twins were born. The Names of our children inspired the name of the apartment - Mamida - which is the abbreviation of their names (Magdalena, Michael, and Daniela).
As time went by, we felt that we just could not break the relationship we had built with Spain. So, during one of our later holidays there, we decided to buy a flat at sunny Costa del Sol, which we are now offering to fellow travellers so they can enjoy the same experience and discover the same passion we did.
